PM Narendra Modi visited his constituency the holy city of Kashi where he was welcomed by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Ganga Ghats were full of lights as hundreds and thousands of lamps were lit on Dev Deepawali.
PM Modi inaugurated the 73 km Handia-Rajatablab part of the highway. The NH-19 will bring down the travel time from Varanasi to Prayagraj by one hour. Prime Minister said that since Yogi Adityanth as CM of Uttar Pradesh the infrastructure growth has improved.
The PM also visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple and offered prayers. Prime Minister also spent some time at the Sarnath Archaeological Site and also spotted the spectacular light and sound show. Massive infrastructure projects were released as well. On the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima and Gurunanak Jayanti, remembering the preachings of Gurunanak Dev, PM directly reached out to the Framers of the country. He answered the questions of farmers directly.
The farmers in their protest against the new Farm Laws had two main questions, first, due to the new farm laws they will not get MSP and the second is that the ration market will end and they will be forced to sell their crops to big corporations at low prices. Prime Minister Modi addressed both of these questions and said neither the MSP nor the markets will end. PM Modi defended the new agricultural laws told that these news reforms will give farmers better options along with legal protection.
Prime Minister made a major outreach to farmers and said that their interests are being taken care of and the opposition is misleading them by presenting a specter of things that may or may not have happened. He added that the farmers need not worry because none of their rights are being taken away from them and more opportunities are being added. The Prime Minister said that some people misled the farmers that is why his government will speak again with the farmers and will try to remove the fear from their minds. PM also said that the money of the government’s schemes is directly transferred to farmer’s accounts. He further added that in five years government has bought three lakh crores of wheat from farmers in MSP.
There was a synergy of dharma and development as PM Modi went back to his constituency Varanasi. He inaugurated the six-lane Kashi to Pryagraj highway and reviewed the Kashi corridor. But apart from the developments, the focus of the Prime Minister’s visit was Lord Shiva and spirituality. Varanasi is a city where a vibrant Indian culture resonates. A city defined by Lord Shiva and spirituality that is fast transforming into a smart city.
